Susanne Scheibe

Susanne Scheibe is a postdoctoral fellow. She obtained her Master’s degree at Humboldt University Berlin, Germany in 2001 and her Ph.D. at the Center for Lifespan Psychology of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development Berlin in 2005. Her research broadly focuses on emotional-motivational processes across adulthood, how individuals regulate their own development and emotions, and how this contributes to leading a satisfying and meaningful life in adulthood and old age. Her recent projects focus on age differences in affective well-being, emotional memory, the cognitive costs of emotion regulation, and affective forecasting.
