Winter
2002 - Current
and Past Members
Below
is a working list of bios for all those undergraduates
and graduates who have labored in Phil's psych lab
since its inception. Because the lab changes slightly
every quarter, even during the summer quarter, some
members are not fully represented here, but most are.
So check out what kind of people you'd be working
with if you're thinking about joining. Oh, everything
that you don't think is funny is a deep inside joke.
Trust that it is both raucously funny and profound
beyond words. Members can be found listed in the quarter
when they first joined the lab.

Winter
2002 - present, Jessica Rose Areen -
Phil is still learning how to call Jessica "Jessie".
Perhaps the difficulty comes from the great distance
Jessie lives from campus-all of five feet. She lives
in a house called "Box of Rain", but the
floors are, thankfully, relatively free of precipitation.
Jessie's experience as a medical assistant, H.I.V.
counselor, and sexual education teacher is an invaluable
contribution to the lab mission, and we are very happy
to have caught her before she graduated.
Winter
2002 - present, Kacey Elizabeth Bradley -
Kacey may be the Black culture expert of the lab,
a fact we are still testing. But without even shooting
off her pinky toe, Kacey's quiet contributions to
the lab look to be promising. Her appreciation of
the Isley Brothers, in fact, is reason alone to give
her the floor for an entire lab session. Her analysis
of racial justice issues is seriously impressive and,
between Eddie Murphy references, we are all tremendously
happy to be privy to it.
Winter
2002 - present, Jason Edward Glick -
Do not be surprised when Jason is smarter than you.
The proof may be mumbled or directed more at the table
in front of him than at your face, but he means it
no less. Able to see the larger picture more quickly
than a cloud photographer, Jason's earnestness about
the issues we handle in the lab is not to be underestimated.
Winter
2002 - present, Heather Martine Littlejohn -
Heather is ashamed of her middle name and we all resent
her for that. We don't tell her, however, because
she plays rugby. Though she has yet to speak at a
lab meeting, everyone somehow knows that she may be
the loudest lab member of this quarter. Hmm. Perhaps
when the spades come out . . .
Winter
2002 - present, Jason Anthony McBride -
Watch your wallets and windows, folks. Jason is not
easily caught, which is one of his more endearing
qualities. An outgoing, yet reflective man, Jason's
laughter is well suited for inspiring both communal
relief and communal analysis. Now, you figure out
how someone's laugh can do all that. Then you may
understand Jason better than do we.
Winter
2002 - present, Daniel "Dee" Langston Savery
-
Dee is a drummer. Dee is a singer. Dee is a researcher.
Dee is the man . . . in that "I'm from Portland"
sort of way. We're all still trying to figure out
exactly what "that sort of way" is. But
trust that we are all very impressed by it. The comments
produced by his furrowed brow have already allowed
lab conversations to take paths not possible (or even
intended) without him.
