Spring
2000
- Current and Past Members
Below
is a working list of bios for all those undergraduates
and graduates who have labored in Phil's psych lab
since its inception. Because the lab changes slightly
every quarter, even during the summer quarter, some
members are not fully represented here, but most are.
So check out what kind of people you'd be working
with if you're thinking about joining. Oh, everything
that you don't think is funny is a deep inside joke.
Trust that it is both raucously funny and profound
beyond words. Members can be found listed in the quarter
when they first joined the lab.

Spring
2000, Lukeythia Alice Lumpkin -
Perhaps the West Coast's premier expert in Microsoft
Excel, Lukeythia entered data, scheduled subjects,
recruited subjects, and generally kept the lab moving
smoothly. Lukeythia's interests spanned the gamut
from the peculiar asymmetry in male/female interracial
dating patterns among Black Americans, to a host of
social justice concerns. Lukeythia is also the first
lab member to have married.
Spring
2000 - Spring 2001, Ariel Leigh Stillman -
When Ariel arrived in the Spring, her dedication to
social justice (and the lab group) became evident
immediately. In addition to her engaging personality
and sophisticated understanding of her research area,
one of Ariel's major contributions to the lab is her
"late night dedication". Often the only
one willing to take on onerous tasks, Ariel has been
known to come into the building at all hours (and
weekends) to finish a project on time. Somehow, however,
she manages to have an exciting life away from research
as well. Ariel spent her summer in New York working
for a public interest law firm. She graduated with
a degree in Political Science and Psychology and is
now living in New York.
