Having your brain scanned

Having your brain scanned with fMRI
If you are interested in helping scientists learn about the brain, or you are interested in learning about how your own brain works, Stanford is the place to come!

Being scanned in an fMRI study is hard work, but you will be paid for your time and you will receive pictures of your brain.  To learn more about what being scanned is like, please watch this movie. While you watch the movie try to think of any questions you would like to ask. We want to answer all of your questions before you are scheduled to come in for a scan because scan time is very precious (and so is your time!).  We want to make sure you are as ready as possible in advance.
