Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2006, with honors in Psychology and a minor in Western Art Music. She joined the Life-span Lab in July, 2006 after working with Dr. Mara Mather at UCSC, researching memory for emotional events. Lauren is particularly interested in how memory and emotions are linked and change with age, as well as the real-world applications of these topics. Outside of the lab, Lauren is a classically trained singer and an aspiring jazz vocalist, with a background in Classical and Baroque theory.
