Hal Ersner-Hershfield

Hal is a fifth year graduate student in the personality area, working with Professors Laura Carstensen and Brian Knutson. Originally from New Jersey, he graduated from Tufts University in 2001 with a degree in Psychology and English. Before coming to Stanford, Hal spent two years as a research assistant with the Schizophrenia Research Group at Harvard Medical School doing morphometric imaging studies on patients with schizophrenia. He is interested in the neural underpinnings of emotional development across the lifespan.
